The Temtop M10+ is a low-cost monitor for a bedroom, nursery or desk that shows CO2, PM2.5, total VOCs, temperature and humidity on an e-ink screen and runs for up to 60 days between charges, according to Temtop. Its app shows history, receives over-the-air updates and lets you calibrate the PM2.5, TVOC and CO2 readings manually.
Two cautions. The M10+ was not in South Coast AQMD's AQ-SPEC summary of particle sensors when we checked, so there is no independent accuracy figure; Temtop's other monitors there ranged from 0.57 to 0.92 in the field. And the pages we read did not state whether its CO2 sensor is NDIR. For an independent particle result at a similar price, see the Qingping Air Monitor Lite; for certain NDIR CO2, the Aranet4.
M10+ vs the original M10
Temtop sells the M10+ as its current M10 model. The original M10 and the M10+ share the idea of a compact monitor with an e-ink display; the M10+ lists CO2, PM2.5, TVOC, temperature and humidity, an app with OTA updates and manual calibration, and battery life up to 60 days. A Temtop comparison article also mentions PM10 and formaldehyde for the M10+, which the Amazon listing does not; trust the readings your unit actually shows.
Independent testing: what exists
| Temtop model | Field R² | Lab R² |
|---|---|---|
| LKC-1000S+ | 0.91 to 0.92 | 0.99 |
| M2000 (2nd Gen) | 0.77 to 0.82 | 0.99 |
| Airing 2000 | 0.57 to 0.59 | None listed |
The spread shows why one maker's results cannot be read across its range. Treat the M10+'s particle readings as good for trends, cooking spikes and checking a purifier, not as precise numbers. See our guide to consumer monitor accuracy.
CO2 and TVOC readings
Whether the M10+ measures CO2 with an NDIR sensor or another method was not stated on the pages we read, although Temtop's NDIR claims appear for some sibling models such as the M100. If CO2 accuracy is important, confirm the sensor in the manual before you buy. Its TVOC reading, like all consumer VOC sensors, is best used as a relative indicator: watch it rise when you clean or cook and fall when you ventilate.
Design and use
The e-ink screen is readable in daylight and does not glow at night, which suits a bedroom. The alarm can be adjusted or muted, according to Temtop. The battery suits moving it between rooms to compare them. Keep it at breathing height, away from your own breath on a desk and away from the kitchen stove; our placement guide explains why.

Who should buy the Temtop M10+
- Buy it for a cheap bedroom or desk monitor with an e-ink screen and long battery life.
- Buy it if you want app calibration and data export at a low price.
- Skip it if you need independently tested particle accuracy; the Qingping Lite has AQ-SPEC results.
- Skip it if CO2 accuracy is critical until you confirm its sensor type; the Aranet4 is NDIR.
